Hi. It's jacofan again. I have found a great way to play your music on your website!! You can make a context box and click the lower part, then click extras. From here you can pick the ReverbNation player and customize it to only play your own music! But first, you have to set up a ReverbNation account. It's free! To see an example, see my website at: www.davidpetersonmusic.webs.com See the result on my music page. Happy composing!
Hello André! It's jacofan from the American Composer's Forum. You have a very nice site and even nicer music! I recently started making my own website. It is www.freewebs/davidpetersonmusic.com. Happy composing!
Hello andré,
I'm mightily impressed. Glad to hear that tonality hasn't lost total ground nowadays. I especially liked the 2nd and 4th movement, with the variations in tempi during the presentation of the theme. The first movement was nice but sometimes a bit longwinded if I may say so.
Hi Jeff, I love to write romantic music and I believe that nowadays "serious" composers feel not comfortable with writing it because being afraid not being taken serious as a composer. Like Fred Haight commented on my Music Message Board: "The language of tonality was never exhausted," I fully agree with him.
Hi Arpeggio, thanks for the nice comments on the piece, my daughter's name was an inspiration in writing the second part indeed. I wish I had started earlier then 17! That way I could have enjoyed all those boring school years a little bit more
