Piano sonata no. 1 in f minor, is dedicated to my daughter Laura Lee. I wrote it between April and August 2007.

The sonata has four movements: (Pianist: Andre van Haren)

1. Allegro con brio

2. Dolce e cantabile

3. Allegro e agitato

4. Allegro con fuoco.

Piano sonata no. 2, in D flat Major, "Golden Anniversary" is written between December 2007 and February 2008. I wrote it specially for the 50th, Golden, wedding anniversary of my parents; this sonata is dedicated to them.

The sonata has four four movements (Pianist: André van Haren):

This piano sonata is written in the more classical style of the 1700's. I wrote it in 1990.

The names of these two pieces bring back memories of J. S. Bach, the famous composer, known for his very difficult to play preludes and fugues of The Well Tempered Clavier. They sound however very different.

I wrote the Prelude and Fugue in the last year of my classical piano study and performed it on my piano exam which was on September 10th, 1990 in Utrecht, The Netherlands.
